Term of Day: Fauxne Call

Fauxne Call: To pretend your are calling someone on the phone when you really are not (faux meaning fake). As in "I placed a fauxne call to Santa last night in front of the kids when they were misbehaving."

There is a term called Faux Call, but I kinda like my combo of faux and phone.

Chile's Highway Hero Dog...So Moving!

This was from March, but it has recently sparked worldwide attention. This took place in Chile and officials have officially called off the search for the dog, stating that too much time has passed. God bless both of these dogs!!!

Sunny von Bulow Passes Away

Heiress Sunny von Bulow, who was in a coma for almost 28 years, passed away in Manhattan on Saturday. She was 76. There are plenty of obituaries online, but here is the one from the NY Times.

I've been following her story since I was a teenager.
